Evening Mug Shot

I get lots of requests to make mugs, so why not devote a whole day to it?
To introduce and practice the technique, we will start by making a small prototype…a simple cylinder without a handle…a shot glass. If you have no interest in a shot glass, no worries. You will be making a toothpick holder, or candle votive, or whatever you care to call it or use it for. The point is to practice the clay construction technique. You could even put a handle on it and have a mini mug.
Just the same, I will provide the inspiration, materials and instruction for you to create a 12 oz. stoneware mug…and a shot.
